Eccleston, Cheshire 1 Barn Owl over the A55 in the Dee valley at 0030hrs

There was no moon in the clear skies of mid Wales but that just made the stars even brighter and it was surprisingly easy to see by starlight in the middle of the night. A shooting star appeared outside any of the 4 annual meteor showers

6+ Red Kites including 1+ over the reserve itself and 4 together over the hills on the opposite side of the estuary

1 Peregrine Falcon on the riverbank

2-3 Little Egrets

4 Stonechats
