First entry

My first winter in Oregon is nearing its end, though you couldn't tell by the weather today. Swifts and swallows are arriving and birds such as red-tailed hawks, bushtits, and juncoes are pairing up. Herons and owls are already sitting on nests and I can't wait to observe more nesting behavior.
