Back to the Beach

Last week, Max left Andie and Sarah behind in Oregon while he worked in New Mexico.


Andie was sad for a few days, but she soon had a great time going to work with Sarah and hanging out with her at the Farmer's Market.

This weekend, Max was back and all three went to the beach on Saturday to conduct two dead bird surveys. Though it was nice and sunny, The wind was blowing like crazy.


Max and Sarah were somewhat troubled by the conditions, but Andie was unfazed, running back and forth between her people and exploring the smells and tastes the beach always offers.

The spring has been relatively easy on the birds. The only recently dead birds were an adult western gull and a young California gull. 


Andie was interested as always.

Later that night, we visited Beth, Ron, and other friends. Andie had a few scuffles with Manny the dog. He apparently has not forgotten about the body checks Andie gave him a few weeks ago when they visited us in Hillsboro.
