More Beach Weekends

Sarah and Max brought Andie to the beach several times in August.


During these trips they learned that  Andie loves kelp.


Whenever Sarah picks up a long frond of bull kelp, Andie springs into action and jumps up to grab the rubbery cord in her mouth.


She brings it to the ground and thrashes it around.


If there are any leaves near the top, she will grab each one and tear it off, shaking her head like an agitated terrier.

Last weekend, we stopped by the jetties at the mouth of Tillamook Bay.


Andie enjoyed the views, but chose to stay near us and away from the rushing water, crowds of people, and larger dogs.
