Andie's Vacation

Last week Sarah and Max took Andie to Central Oregon. It was a bit different from what she's used to in Hillsboro, but she appears to have had a great time.

She looked for fish at the Wizard Falls Hatchery pond...

and  looked for woodpeckers at this wildfire site.


She went camping for her first time (that we know of). She was uninterested in packs of coyotes and hordes of rodents, but she was sure to woof at any friendly humans that approached the camp site.


Andy tasted the water at Sparks Lake while her people enjoyed the birds and scenery.



She tasted the Metolius River as well, but the water was too cold for her to wade into.



While hiking through Shevlin Park, Max scaled a boulder. after one failed attempt, Andie ran right up the vertical face to join him at the top. Once there, however, she saw how steep it was and started whining. Max showed her the easy way down the backside and all was well.

Andie is happy to be back in her neighborhood, but looks forward to future vacations.
