Annoying This scruffy looking male Red Breasted Merganser was braving the wind at Kamiso. Not much else of interest around. A lone Red Throated Diver, large rafts of Scaup offshore, a few Shoveler and Black Scoter still around and a pair of Grey Starling presumably on their way north. Annoyingly I dropped and lost a small but vital component of my digiscoping set-up. Hence the even dodgier than normal pic above. I have to reorder the whole thing ( a shutter release arm) even though only a tiny part of it is now missing. Things like this make me curse out loud. 23:36 - 21/4/2006 - post comment
