A quick look on a river Had a quick look between showers at Kamiso. This Black Kite was on the beach. The usual 10 or so Duck species were still present though in ever dwindling numbers. A few interesting things out at sea amongst the Ducks and Cormorants.........several Red Necked Grebe and at least 3 Divers. 1 was clearly a winter plumage Red Throated but the other 2 were too far away and were also moulting into summer plumage. God only knows what they were. The 2 Black Winged Stilts haven't left yet. They were taking a nap.  17:29 - 27/4/2006 - post comment
