Posted in Unspecified

A trip east to Esan produced lots of Red Necked Grebe (many in summer plumage), these Japanese (or Temincks) Cormorant, Pelagic Cormorant, Red Breasted Merganser and Harlequin Duck. Back in Hakodate there were the first Red Cheeked Starling of the summer, a Common Kingfisher and a Japanese Wagtail.
