Dead Snakes

Posted in Unspecified
Lots of dead Snakes on the road today. At least 4. I don't know what type they were but they were all in various states of flatness and dryness.

The deceased reptiles were more interesting than the birdlife today. Yakumo had none of the waders of a few days ago although the Ospreys and Scaup were still around plus a few Sand Martin. Asabu was slightly better. Chestnut Eared Bunnting and Japanese Bush Warbler were the only singing species and lots of (Pacific) White Rumped Swift were heading south. Not much to photograph so here's a lousy pic of a young Oriental Greenfinch at Asabu.
