Thomas Ashford Trip - 7:00 AM, May 17, 2008 |
Are you looking for something to do Saturday morning? Well how about joining me on a trip out to Thomas Ashford Scout Camp near Homer, NE to look for migrant birds such as warblers? If this sounds interesting to you and you would like to join me, please e-mail me. This event will only be for the local birders I know, so that we can get in. The reason for this is so that we are not taking unknown strangers into a scout camp when campers are there (safety precaution). Please contact me soon so that I have an idea of who is going. B Birds we could see: -warblers/magnolia warbler, black-throated green warbler, northern parula, etc. -thrushes/swainson's thrush, gray-cheecked thrush, wood thrushes, veery, etc. -and anything else that comes our way! |
