AQUATIC WARBLER on Shetland - 387th species of year
The first AQUATIC WARBLER of the autumn and year (on Uns, Shetland, this afternoon) represents the 387th species to be recorded in Britain and Ireland this year.
Since my last update in June, the following additional species have been recorded -:
Fea's Soft-plumaged Petrel (off Ireland), Great Shearwater (many), Pacific Golden Plover (2 adults), Semipalmated Sandpiper (adult in Suffolk), Baird's Sandpiper (adult in Ireland), Sabine's Gull (several), Caspian Tern (adult), Booted Warbler and Two-barred Crossbill (13)
