A juvenile LITTLE BLUE HERON, perhaps the recent Galway bird from Ireland, has today been identified in Carmarthenshire this afternoon, feeding at low tide on the Gwendraeth Estuary, SSW of Kidwelly. It was initially watched at Banc y Lord until 1650 before flying across to Coed Bach. It represents the FIRST record for BRITAIN.

DIRECTIONS

Park in Kidwelly (Cydweli) and walk south for half a mile. Pass under the railway bridge to the footpath to view the estuary
