Sun-4-Oct-2009 - oiled rockhopper penguin

while out this afternoon around cape pembroke i found this very badly oiled penguin, it was on a rock about 10m from main shore so could not get to it. Another bird paying the price  for ships dumping crap at sea.

dont know what else to say about it I am lost for words at mans utter stupidity and/or laziness, thats what oil spills are stupid mistakes or utter laziness in most cases and in some cases just done on purpose because it easier and cheaper to dump at sea.
