Red-flanked Bluetail

Aurora header.jpg

Walked over to collect the eggs late this afternoon and the first bird I clapped eyes on was a Red-flanked Bluetail. Like you do.

It obligingly lobbed into B's mistnet, so was released in the plantation, where it might stand a chance of sticking around and finding something worth eating.

Only bothered with a couple of digital shots, as the camera is shite. Will have some much better ones from the old-fashioned film slr.
