7 Grey Herons finding easy pickings in the rapidly diminishing res. 3 although the larger fish have been rescued, even Black-headed Gulls are simply wading in and taking out fish at will.
The Red-breasted Goose has moved to Martin Mere WWT for the winter with the 51 feral Barnacle Geese that spent the summer here, a migration of 15 miles... in the wrong direction !
