Checked out the wet fields on the Owen-Morgan county line to see if shorebirds have started to move in. Saw three shorebirds that were new for the year: Lesser Yellowlegs, Pectoral Sandpiper, and Wilson's Snipe (recently split from Common Snipe); and a new Indiana state bird: American Pipit.
