Heavy rains for most of the day meant not much good birding. I didn't even bother to keep a list of the species for the day, but I did see two flocks of Wild Turkeys along the side of the road. The highlight was Pine Warbler, year bird number 109. Several were singing high in the pine trees at Yellowwood State Forest, and I manged to spot one of them despite poor light. Hopefully this signals the start of warbler migration. I had seen Yellow-rumped Warblers, but a few winter in the area.
