The latest prescription drug ring points out to the fraudulent practices being practised in the pharmacy business. We as consumers should be more vigilant while ordering drugs online and check the credibility of the pharmacy. The most popular drugs with counterfeiters are Erectile Dysfunction drugs, diet pills, herbal remedies and pain relievers. The accused was found in possession of Phentermine diet pills and pain killer OxyContin which she was trading and selling illegally. To avoid counterfeit drugs, consumers should order from only a retail pharmacy or certified online pharmacy, avoid buying from sites which sell generic versions of different drugs and also avoid pharmacies which sell at very cheap prices. We should learn to protect ourselves and not put our health at risk by falling prey to counterfeit drugs.
