      <![CDATA[<p>2.9.05 Egleton 1 juv. Osprey on the nest joined after an hr by a large, older juv. who fed on fish bits in the nest and on the feeding platform. Apparently most matures left for Africa or feeding out of sight in the area.<br />
The first juv. (No. 33) only left the pen on 30.8, so still  not acclimated to freedom. Still needs 2 or more wks to mature and stregthen for migration to W. Africa.<br />
Also a kestrel overhead and 100 commorants on S. Lagoon.</p>]]>
