med gulls
2 adult summer mediterranean gulls were at Rosscarbery this evening, one with a red colour ring and the other with a pale green ring. A green sandpiper at Long Strand this evening was new for the patch year list (101).
An evening seawatch off Galley produced good numbers of storm petrels, 1 pomarine skua, 2 bonxies and 1 sooty shearwater, along with 1 minke whale. | Other Irish news

Hi Col,
Had an adult Med myself yesterday flying down river at Penrose Quay, but no luck with the Laugher. Will try for that again later.
Col, was the Pom a year tick? What's the story with the list now, where are you in the race? You must have picked up a few bonus points with the Fea's.
Lost all my photos on the computer...don't know where they are!! Oh well, at least there was no crippling close up views of anything decent..live and learn.
