A brief seawatch off Galley this evening produced at least 20 cory's shearwaters circling around, and also 1 balearic shearwater, which was a patch year tick (102).
Another colour-ringed adult summer mediterranean gull (white ring) was at Owenahincha beach this evening, along with several sandwich terns. Ross had 15 greenshanks and a kingfisher.
Finally, Clon had a yellow-legged gull and 3 common sandpipers, while the long-staying glaucous gull was again at Ring this evening. | Other Irish news
