Hey Col,
wonder if its the same Fea's popping around the west coast? Reckon it could be. Wonder why it's so quiet out your way? Heading to some place tomorrow, can't remember what's it's called, not a birding trip, sight-seeing. Supposed to be stunning so there may be some bits and bats about. Talk to you over the weekend maybe... I want to see something good on the blog tomorrow!!!
Posted by: Carmo at August 26, 2005 04:40 PMLanger!!! Did you have the Little Shear off Galley this morning???? Just saw it on Birdguides!!! Magic mate if you did. WHo had the Bee eater in Douglas? Was it Andre? Fea's off Carnsore Point! Must be the best year for seawatching in years and I'm stuck here!! What a friggin disaster!! No birding this weekend but did manage to see Jay which is TOTALLY different to the Euro bird..will have to be split, different call also.
Am off to bed, hope you're well and say hi to Claire, also hope you had the Little Shear and it wasn't that Jammy Bollix of a Jackeen Foley..I know you read this Owen!!!
Later

Posted by: Carmo at August 28, 2005 04:09 PMAs you may now be aware it was indeed me who had both the bee eater and the little shear.I also got onto the distant "small shear" which was most certainly another little shear!
