Oops...havent updated in a while!
Well this year i have had 6 ticks.
Purple heron on the 27th of march at tacumshin.
Cattle egret was a good self flound tick at clonakilty on the 30th of april and the next day a Black winged stilt turned up close by in the same area!
Monday the 2nd of may produced Golden oriole and broad billed sandpiper at ballycotton!!
And the following weekend a whiskered tern showed up at tacumshin along with a garganey and a montagus harrier!So not a bad spring at all.
I have recently moved to cork and since coming down have found birds like hoopoe, ring necked duck, cattle egret, turtle dove, yellow legged gull and carrion crow.My list is currently at 273 (irish list)
