Paint it Black

Yesterday i headed down to wexford to see the 1st summer american black tern at Ladys Island.
Myself and SR left cork at 3am to get there before the heat haze got up, and this was a wise decision as upon arriving the adult Eurasian black tern, in summer plumage, was present.
Soon after this I relocated the American Black tern and it gave crippling views on the sand spit along side adult and Juvenile Common, Arctic and Roseate Terns.
Later on we moved to tacumshin to get sean the Montagus Harrier, the bird showed almost instantly and gave incredible views as it came right by us.
A marsh harrier was also here.

Back to lady's Island and we connected with the juvenile Eurasian Black tern, before moving on to the north slob in search of the Ruddy Shelducks.
No joy on this front as apparently they fecked off after being ringed, but an adult yellow legged gul was present infront of the pat walsh hide.
