On Saturday I made a last excursion out into west cork in the hopes of digging something out.
Stopped off at Rosscarberry first, seeing both the AGP and the Lesser yellowlegs.
Then on down to ballymacrown. No sign of my RB fly, but a snow bunting was a nice cork tick and year tick in one of the southern paddocks.
A showy female hen harrier was also present hunting around the paddocks.
On towards Toe head, stoppping off at L. Adrigole on the way and finding a nice yellowbrowed warbler in with a flock of tits.
Toe head itself was extremely quiet with just redwings and fieldfare moving through.
