Got up to leave our hotel for the trip north back to New York , while i was stood outside the hotel a car pulled up & out got the govener of New York Hilary Clinton , i was then told that this was the hotel that they tried to assasinate president Reagan at a few years back .
Anyway we headed north towards Philadelphia .

Stopped for lunch at the Delaware travel plaza where there were the following .

On to the city of Philadelphia the home of American independence where we saw the Liberty Bell , Independence Hall & the grave of Benjamin Franklin , we then went to the city hall steps made famous in the Rocky films

We arrived back in New York in the late afternoon after going through the states of Pennsylvania , Delaware the first american state , New Jersey where we went through Holboken the birth place of Frank Sinatra .
In the evening we went to eat at Times Square & had a look at Broadway .
