SLAPTON LEY . DEVON .
Good veiws of 2 RED-RUMPED SWALLOWS obtained today feeding over the ley with HOUSE MARTIN , SAND MARTIN & SWALLOW .
They came in at 3.30 pm & only stayed for about 10 minutes & then vanished again , Also seen on the ley were a raft of 20 + KITTIWAKES ( Photo`s ) a male GADWALL & 3 GREAT CRESTED GREBES .
Around the edge of the ley there were REED , SEDGE & CETTI`S WARBLERS & a new in SPOTTED FLYCATCHER .
On getting back home to Topsham i went for a quick look in at Bowling Green Marsh where there were a few WHIMBRELS , 3 Summer Plumaged KNOT & a COMMON SANDPIPER
