Up early this morning & off down to Berry Head to see if I could see the
RED-BREASTED FLYCATCHER that was reported yesterday .
Getting up early worked again ! as I found the bird in a clump of ivy in the hedge by the horse field to the right of Berry Head , myself & 3 others watched the bird for about 5 minutes & then it vanished & wasn`t seen again .
There were also numerous GOLDCREST , 2 CHIFFCHAFF & a male BLACKCAP at the site as well .
Out on the headland there were 60+REDWING , 3 SWALLOW & 6 SKYLARK flying over & on the wall of the Lighthouse was this lone BLACK REDSTART .
