MONDAY 1st NOVEMBER . 2004
Today at Dawlish Warren the birding was very slow , a look at the sea got me nothing but about 300+ HERRING GULL that were feeding close into shore .
And the walk out to the point turned up 16 SANDERLING & 9 GREY PLOVER .

Finches were in abundance with 60+ GREENFINCH , 20+ GOLDFINCH & 2 BULLFINCH being seen , there were also 10 STONECHAT , 8 ROBIN , 20+ DUNNOCK , 12 WREN & a DARTFORD WARBLER that showed well .
Other birds of interest were a PEREGRINE FALCON & a GREAT SPOTTED WOODPECKER
