MY 3rd YELLOW BROWED WARBLER IN DEVON THIS YEAR !

Today Andy Bond & mysef went to the old sludge beds at Countess Wear near Exeter to see if we could catch up with the YELLOW BROWED WARBLER that had been seen there about a week ago .
And we were in luck & found the bird right at the far end of the reserve in with half a dozen wintering CHIFFCHAFF & quite a few GOLDCREST ! & while we were there a very nice FIRECREST gave breaf but good views .
Also seen was a small flock of LONG TAILED TIT
& a GREAT SPOTTED WOODPECKER .
