Bohemian Waxwing

I receaved a call from my mate Andy today telling me that he was looking at a BOHEMIAN WAXWING in the small village of Lapford in East Devon .
So I got in my car & off I went to see if I could see it , on the way I saw a PEREGRINE FALCON sat on the steeple of St Michaels Church in Exeter , I arrived at Lapford about an hour later & Andy was still there keeping an eye on the Waxwing for me as it fed in a fir tree & we got good views of it untill it flew off to another tree , reports are that it has been there for a few days so lets hope other birders can catch up with this semi/rarity in Devon .
( A great pity that I couldn`t get any shots of it but my camera is out of action at the moment )
