SHORT EARED OWL
This evening I got news of a SHORT EARED OWL over on Exminster Marsh so over I went to see if it was still there & I was in luck & got very good veiws of the bird that was showing beside the Lyons Rest estate .

Laughing Gull
Today I finally caught up with the 1st winter LAUGHING GULL on the Matford Pool near Exeter , also seen were 20+ BLACK HEADED GULL , a GREEN SANDPIPER & 2 GREYLAG GOOSE of some origin .

1st MARCH . 2007
Today I went down to Cornwall with some mates to look for the reported WHITE-BILLED DIVER that has been seen on the Hale Estuary & we were in luck & get great views of this stunning bird , also seen were 6 GREAT NORTHERN DIVER & the long staying SPOTTED SANDPIPER .
We then had a look in Mounts Bay but only saw another 4 GREAT NORTHERN DIVER , so we then headed off back home & stopped of at the Clapper Marshes near Egloshale where we saw a Male AMERICAN WIGEON , an adult summer plumaged MEDITERRANEAN GULL & 3 RED-LEGGED PARTRIDGE .
