A trip down to South Devon this afternoon with Andy Bond & Brian Heasman for a reported GLOSSY IBIS at West Alvington provided us with great views of the bird on a small pond & in the fields , also seen were numerous HOUSE MARTIN with a few SWALLOW & a CHIFFCHAFF was singing nearby .
PS The farmer is not charging for people to go on his land !! but if you like you can make a donation towards the local school .
