While nesting has been confirmed in Rocky Ford, Colorado, Inca Doves are still very rare elsewhere in the state. This bird furnishes heavily-birded Pueblo county with its second record.

The bird was found the week before by Brandon Percival. Feathers from an adult male Blue-winged Warbler were found on Nov 3 and it is thought that this bird was likely eaten by an accipter.
