This huge Harpy is currently in the early stages of nesting at Gareno Lodge so should be available for a while. Definately one of the best raptors in the World and one of the best birds in the Neotropics period. A seriously awesome bird. Monster, monster!!! Tropical Birding |

Yet another shot of the fantastic Harpy that is now nesting at Gareno Lodge. It's a hilly 2 mile hike to get to the nest, but well worth it as we saw plenty of other great birds like Pavonine Quetzal, White-plumed Antbird, and Reddish-winged Bare-eye. Tropical Birding |
