Belvide Fair NW 2

The main highlight today was a summer plumage Spotted Redshank (photo) that was on the north shore. This is the first spring/summer record since the 3 birds that were present on the 4th May 2000. A single Green Sandpiper, 2 Redshank, 6 Oystercatcher and 2 LRP were also present. A Hobby was seen a couple of times this afternoon and the pair of Common Tern on the older scott hide raft now have 2 chicks.
