Friday sightings

A perfect day at GNW this morning, bright light, flat water, little wind. Having looked at the board I was bemoaning the absence of a kingfisher from my list this year when one flew into my scope vision  and dived from the wire fence. Also present during my brief visit this morning were 3 grey herons (imm), green woodpecker, cormorant . female shovellor and 2 little grebe.

On leaving I spotted a little owl in the ususal tree.
