New workings was quiet with the only birds of note being a Green Sandpiper and a jay.
Old workings had a bit more activity with 5 snipe circling around and 2 fieldfare in the treetops. also present 2 green woodpeckers, a great spotted woodpecker and a kestrel.

2 Green sandpipers were present. A handhull of Lesser Redpoll flew over also Sparrowhawk and Kestrel.

Very quiet at the pools. The Green sandpiper remains. Also seen were 2 1st winter Common Gulls, Sparrowhawk and Raven over.

Today at the New Workings:
This morning the Little Stint and Dunlin still present. Also a Golden Plover over.
This afternoon, 2 Stonechat and a leucistic Lapwing, all white apart from the breast.

The Little Stint and Dunlin remained on site all day. 2 Stonechats were
on the north west fence and the Green Sandpiper was seen around the
pools.
This evening, a female / 1W Wheatear was on the workings under the
cliff. Many Pied Wagtails came in to roost and maybe 100 plus Meadow
Pipits flew through in small groups.

The Juv. Little Stint was still present this morning, feeding with the Dunlin and being harrased by Jackdaws. Also present, Green Sandpiper, 5 Snipe and Stonechat.
Golden Plover and a small flock of Siskin flew over the area.
The Little Stint was still on site at 1500.

Today at the New Workings:
This morning a Dunlin was seen along with a Juv Herring Gull.
By midday the Dunlin could not be found, but Kingfisher, 2 Swallows and C20 Skylark were around the pools.
This Afternoon The Dunlin had reappeared along with a Juv. Little Stint. (The fourth bird if the Autumn!)

It was very quiet at the New Workings today.
Green Sandpiper, Raven, 5 Snipe and a flock of c.90 Lapwing were recorded.
A Clouded Yellow butterfly was seen flying over the plough.
