Buzzard / Maeusebussard (Buteo Buteo)
The first time I got close enough (or he did) for a decent shot. Well, better than others so far – I keep trying
My 200mm lens isn’t bad for long distance, but it sure helps when the birdie circles closer over your head

On yesterdays walk we saw a whole parade of wildlife.
What I want to show you today is a Egret (Heron?) that is in the area over winter all by him (her?) self it seems.
I’m not sure what exact kind of Egret this one is (in German it’s called Reiher).
If anyone has some enlightenment, let me know. I am grateful for more Info.
In the meantime, I’ll try to get more pics of it
Update: Great Heron – Egretta alba
