My first Great spotted Woodpecker shots where you can actually recognize the type of bird.
I think it’s a female. On one of my pics you can see the back and it doesn’t have a red mark on the neck.

I always reckon it gets easier after getting that first elusive shot. So hopefully you'll get a lot more woodpeckers soon!
