Silver Washed Fritillary at Botley

Spent the afternoon in Botley Wood with Tony. A little bit of news bird wise but I will let Tony cover that in a later posting. One of the more noticeable butterflies was the Silver Washed Fritillary. I did not see one last week but today we had around a dozen in the first twenty minutes. Below are a few images of this cracking species.
