On 13/X/2010, I detected 1 juvenile American Golden Plover near the dump at Tías golf course. I made telephone calls to the local birders and some minutes later A. Unquiles Cobos was present in the place and we could observe the obliging bird together.
I returned to the golf course on 14/X, seeing that the bird was still there.
The most amazing was that on 14/X, I visited La Santa, detecting a new juvenile bird there.

The bird at Tías golf course was still there on 18/X (J. Sagardía) and the bird at La Santa was seen again there by A. Unquiles Cobos on 17/X.
These are our 2nd and 3rd record of American Golden Plover for Lanzarote, after the bird seen at La Santa on October 2006.
