Shorncote: No sign of the Shrike 15.15 onwards.  Peregrine falcon hunting tufted duck in front of 2nd hide.  Kingfisher flying about all morning and a shelduck.  Kestrel, 50 Lapwing, many Fieldfare and few Redwing, Grey Wagtail, several small flocks of Linnet, Little Egret, starling roost at South end of Keynes Country Park (in excess of 5000 birds). 2 or 3 Water Rail calling at dusk.    Dave Soons.  Malcolm Royal; Steve Davies

Shorncote: Great Grey Shrike back between the 2 hides at midday. Peregrine flew over to a post on the hills,2 buzzards,2 kestrels,sparrow hawk,and a kingfisher plus water rails heard. Sparrowhawk, Kestrel, Goosander over, c100Lapwing, large flock of Starlings displaying before going to roost towards the southern end of Keynes Country Park.   Kim Milsom.   Dave Soons.  Malcolm Royal

Shorncote:  Great grey Shrike about 50 yards past the hides.   Green Sandpiper, 2 little egrets.  2 Cetti’s Warblers and 2 Water Rails calling, 20 + Reed Buntings, 150+ Redwings and 70+ Fieldfares, 4 Bullfinches, Little Egret over, 35 Golden Plover flew over south, 20 Teal, 4 Wigeon.

Shorncote: Great Grey Shrike on the top of the hedge between the two hides at 1540.  Numbers of  winter thrushes, the majority of which were Fieldfares accompanied by lesser numbers of Redwings & Blackbirds. Shorncote:   a Great Grey Shrike, by the sharp bend in the path 50yds west of the hide, seen at 1540 and again at 1610.
