Red letter day today, we parked by the causeway and started to scan towards Tad Bay and an Osprey appeared from nowhere it flew over the causeway and off towards the dam and then disappeared.

We then went round to Blithe Bay where there were 2 Ruff and 3 Greenshanks,  while walking round to Tad Bay we saw the Osprey again over the brow of the hill in Tad Bay, this time it had a fish in its talons.

On reachingTad Bay we saw it perched in a dead tree on the other side of the reservoir eating it’s fish. It was later flushed by a Buzzard.
