    ThumbnailThis afternoon the easterly winds blew in a Temminck’s Stint (photos) which was found on the north shore at 2.15pm. 3 Ringed  Plover were present including 2 flying thru this morning also 2 LRP. 2 Hobby were noted.

    Again very quiet. 3 Ringed Plover flew thru. 2 Hobby were seen this afternoon. A 1st summer Common Gull flew south this afternoon. I forgot to mention yesterday a Cuckoo was heard in the reservoir plantation.

    An Osprey flew thru to the north at 8am. A drake Mandarin at the west end was new for the year. 2 Hobby were again hunting Swifts this morning. A male Wheatear was below the dam. 20 GC Grebe were counted.
