Its one step forward and two steps back for spring this year, for every sunny day there are two rainy days. The sand lizards at Higher Hyde were trying to catch a few rays between the showers. -

The bog is still very dry the recent rains have had no noticable impact on the water levels. A few migrants have trickled in, Hobby and Tree Pipit are already here and today the first Cuckoo appeared. -
