There's an interesting paper published in the latest edition of British Birds (BB) magazine:
'The breeding population of the Hobby in Derbyshire' by Anthony Messenger and Martin Roome. 2007. British Birds 100 (December 2007): 594 - 608.
Single copies are available to non-subscribers of BB at: www.britishbirds.co.uk (http://www.britishbirds.co.uk)
Also there's a short videoclip of a juvenile Red-shouldered Hawk feeding on a crayfish it caught in a drainage ditch posted on Surfbirds at:
http://surfbirds.com/video2/view_video.php?viewkey=bbb00f97ba6ce92bf5ad
I hope others will post raptor-related news and information on this Forum in due course.
Keep skywatching!
