Interesting sightings there as I thought this species was almost impossible now with few birds left and mooted to be removed from GB list. I see one sighting from Little Chalfont - isn't that LGRE's home? Not sure if he still does paying tours...
Last photos posted on Surfbirds (http://www.surfbirds.com/cgi-bin/gallery/search2.cgi?species=lady+amherst's+pheasant) caused a stir I remember but they are now 2 years old! Maybe this bird is going the way of the Ivory-billed and survives on rumors.
Good luck, Bob

There extinct in suffolk, so i believe that the only place they're still found is bedfordshire.

Anybody know where the best place is to see lady ams pheasant?
China??
Dropped from BOU list a couple of years ago now if I remember rightly, I've not heard any reports from the regular sites near me for a while but LGRE usually knows of a couple in the Brickhill/Woburn area (often on private land tho).
Monster blocker if you are a BOU only lister!
