interesting footage - he looks like he's suffering a bit - anyone been to see him recently, is he still gasping like that or has he gotten better?

A nice pic taken by Will Bowell has just been posted here (http://www.surfbirds.com/cgi-bin/gallery/display.cgi?gallery=gallery9) and he seems to be fairing well, some lovely seal pics on his blog too.
I've posted a higher quality video today (thanks for the encoding Andy) distinguished by the unfinished Jackson Pollock painting appearance.

p.s. I can't seem to add comments or appraise other videos, is it me?

Yes, you will see that a number of videos have really bad thumbnails (like the pollock reference!). This is due to the video codec used to compress those particular videos that Admin does. If you have hi-res video and want us to do a special encode for you, just PM me. Thumbnails will look bad until we fix it but the video will look better on the hi-res footage. We can fix the thumbnails easy enough and will do over next couple of weeks. Comments temporarily disabled until we can be sure we're not going to get inundated with spam bots that seem to attack Surfbirds more and more frequently. If too many of them hit us at once, the whole site slows to a crawl. Those pesky spammers.
