Hi there,

Does anyone Surfbirder have any recent (last 3-5 years) experience of independent travel in Cameroon please?

I'm particularly interested to learn about anyone's experience of hiring vehicles from Douala because there appear to be very few multi-national companies operating in the country.

See no one publicly answered this. Looks like an adventurous place to visit and renting a car/getting around doesn't seem that easy. Birdingpal (http://www.birdingpal.org/Cameroon.htm) seems to have some contacts and one pro guide has a recommendation from another birder...let us know how you get on.
